Wall Street closes down as market awaits for more signals
FXStreet (San Francisco) - The US stocks market extended losses at the end of the day and closed negative on Wednesday. Investors are waiting for further signals on how the economy is doing in the second quarter.
The Dow closed down for first time in 6 days and after declining 101.47 points or 0.61% the DJIA finished at 16,613.97; the S&P retreated from record highs with 8.92 points or 0.47% lost to 1,888.53. The Nasdaq Composite fell 29.54 pts or 072% to end the session at 4,100.63.
