A busy week ahead - Westpac

Analysts at Westpac explained that it's a busy week ahead in global markets.

Key Quotes:

"It's a busy week ahead in global markets with Trump's first State of the Union address (Tue), Yellen's last Fed meeting (Wed), US ISM (Thu), US non-farm payrolls data (Fri). On top of this, we have Australian Q4 CPI (Wed) plus China PMIs (Wed/Thu).

However, its a quiet start to the week. US Personal income data should signal continued solid nominal growth in wages, albeit with most of the gain lost to inflation. Growth in spending will remain robust, aided by confidence and dissaving. Finally, the Dallas Fed survey will give an update on momentum in regional manufacturing; most of these surveys remain very strong, despite a recent loss of altitude."
